Approach and Certifications

We all need support at different points in our lives whether we’re healing from painful experiences, feeling overwhelmed in the present, or trying to create meaningful change for the future. Therapy can offer a steady, nonjudgmental space to process what you’re carrying while building tools to help you move forward. With ten years of experience in social work and individual counseling, I work collaboratively with clients to strengthen coping skills, set healthier boundaries, and better manage anxiety, stress, trauma, and relationship challenges.

Certifications

Trauma and challenging life experiences can impact mental and physical health. This is one reason why I decided to pursue post Master certifications and trainings with trauma informed frameworks. I am certified as a Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapist (TF CBT)through the National Therapist Certification Program.

Cognitive behavioral therapy helps guide my clinical practice, but I also incorporate other modalities into session as well. In all aspects of my work, I utilize mindfulness and grounding to help regulate the sympathetic nervous system, emphasizing the strong connection between mind and body.
